About Shelli
My evolution from being an active athletic child to becoming a movement
educator has been filled with years of studying and learning. I bring to
my students and clients 25+ years of experience both as a multisport athlete
and as a professional in the health and wellness field.
As a lifelong learner I am always studying and practicing in my own body
so I can bring new and exciting ideas to my students and clients. I have
studied with Marsha and Don Wenig, Steve Ilg, Liz Koch, Emilie Conrad, Beth
Pettengill Riley, and Erin Fleming.
In sharing my learning with others, I have taught countless classes and
workshops, been a featured speaker at REI, and have worked extensively with
chiropractors, physical therapists, and bodyworkers. I use an interdisciplinary
approach in all my teaching.
As I turned 50 last year I began to wonder for myself how I could continue "blooming." I ran both the Honolulu and San Diego marathons and
did the Pacific Grove Triathlon and had a great time exploring my own Joy
in Movement! Now I have turned my attention to the half ironman distance,
and the CHI and JOY keep flowing!
