Hello friends, and welcome to this month’s Joyinmovement newsletter.
This year September is a particularly hectic, to say the least, month for many of us. With changes to work schedules and work locations, and changes to school systems and other restrictions due to the pandemic, let’s keep this month’s Joyinmovement newsletter short. I know I’ll often say that and then publish 2000 words 🙂 But this time I mean it!
Here’s a fun article on becoming a Wellness Champion. We all have room for improvement, but at least let’s make sure we’re on the right course.
Do you ever wonder which countries are the healthiest and what they eat? I do. Turns out one of MY favorite countries to visit and eat my way through tops the list.
I’ve been fascinated by mask wearing around the world. Not are they wearing masks question, but more about the artistry, culture and design of masks. Here’s an amazing look at mask wearing in the Congo!
If you have any adventure plans coming up (hiking, cycling, kayaking), here are some how-to-stay-safe relating to COVID guidelines issued by the ATTA, Adventure Travel Trade Association.
Though our wanderlust may remain dormant for a while, it’s still important to keep that wanderlust alive and plan for some future travels. One wonderful popular destination is France!
And no better way to enjoy France than by rewarding your taste buds with French cheeses. As a side effect of leaving some cheese in a cellar for longer than normal because of the virus impact on their businesses, French cheesemakers have created a new and now best-selling cheese. In case you didn’t know, there are already 1600 distinct types of French cheese. Aren’t you glad you now know about #1601 🙂
Five is my lucky number so we’ll stop here. Hope you’ve found one or all five of these articles entertaining, educational, or inspiring.
Until next month, stay active, stay safe, stay engaged, and find Joy each and every day!
P.S. It’s wonderful being able to send out these monthly newsletters to so many people. One question readers often ask is how best to support the work I do and thank me. For just this reason I recently created a Patreon page I’d appreciate you taking a look at it and letting me know what you think! The best feedback always comes from the Joyinmovement community 🙂
